Welcome to The Australian Federation of Totally and Permanently Incapacitated Ex Servicemen and Women (Queensland Branch) Inc

We are a strong voice for TPIs in Queensland and represented by director membership on our federated national body headquartered in Canberra.

This site has been designed to provide information and points of contact for our members and for those who may wish to join our ranks. Under ‘Notices’ on this site you will find useful information including regular updates from the President. If you find any information is incorrect or needs updating or clarification then please contact the secretary

We welcome applications for ordinary membership from any ex ADF person holding a current DVA Gold Card embossed with ‘TPI’. Associate membership is available from anyone holding a current DVA Gold Card. DVA White Card holders can also apply for associate membership of any of our state-wide social centres. Partners of ordinary TPI members may also join as associates.   See ‘Join The Association’ on this site for further details. Applications to join can be downloaded from this site or obtained from state office or relevant social centre.

Social Centres are located throughout the state and all members, including associates, are encouraged to join a centre. Centres will make you welcome and you can enjoy the camaraderie of fellow ex-service people and families. Contact details of social centres are on this site but please contact the state office if you encounter any difficulty making contact.

The State Management Committee (SMC) and office staff are here to do our best to ensure that the rights and benefits applicable to our members are not eroded and, where possible, enhanced. We are also represented on various state bodies including: the Queensland Premier’s Veterans’ Advisory Council (QVAC), Queensland Forum of Ex Service Organisations, VVCS, and DVA Consultative forums. Outcomes of these meeting are disseminated to members regularly along with other regular information updates. Any financial member who is not receiving regular E mail updates and wishes to do so should notify the office.

An official State TPI journal is published twice a year (June & December). This provides a vital link to our members across the state and to advertisers who support the association. We welcome contributions from members to the journal. Also, a concession booklet is also published regularly to keep members informed of available concessions both in Queensland and nationally.

Remember we’re here for you, so please feel free to contact us, particularly if you want us to pursue an issue of concern to your entitlements or you need the services of a welfare officer. The state office is staffed on Wed & Fri from 10am to 2pm or you can leave a message out of office hours on Phone 07 33525090 or by email.
